Our Background
Our congregation's history began in 1846 when the Red Bank Baptist Church started
a mission in what was "Leedsville" and is now Lincroft.Years later, the Lincroft Chapel was built in Lincroft Center. In 1951 our church incorporated as a community church. Then, in 1960, the congregation affiliated
with what was the United Presbyterian Church. Our present building was constructed in 1966. The old building is now the "King
Wok" restaurant in Lincroft Center.
Our congregation includes people who have lived in the Lincroft area all their lives
and others who are newcomers. Our interests and occupations are as varied as our geographic origins. We welcome persons of
diverse backgrounds.
